Behavior

Sphynx are indoor cats. Because of their lack of coat, the sun can burn their skin just like a human's. A sunny window or a "day bed" in the sunroom will let them enjoy the warmth without the danger.
Sphynx are agile and intelligent. That means you should protect them from danger as you would an infant. Safety latches on cabinets and receptacle covers for unused electrical outlets are a good idea.
Toys
Provide your Sphynx with safe toys. Twist ties, rubber bands, or for that matter any tiny objects could be a danger to your pet.
Sphynx require a lot of water. They will drink whatever and wherever they find it - so keep the toilet lid closed, don't let dishwater stand in your sink and take the same precautions you would with an infant.

Toxins
Many plants are toxic to animals. Make sure any houseplants are non - toxic, never feed them food with onions as they are allergic, and do not use any flea protection product not prescribed by your Vet. Also, NEVER give your cat medications intended for a human as many will prove toxic to your Sphynx.
